 Steffi Grundmann


Steffi Grundmann is Post-Doc and Research Assistant at the History Department of the University of Wuppertal. Her research focuses on Greco-Roman antiquity with an emphasis on economy, bodies and gender. She received a PhD on the topic of skin and hair in Classical Greece in 2017. Currently, she is writing a book about the spinning of yarn in the Roman empire. She is the author among other publications of the monograph Haut und Haar. Politische und soziale Bedeutung des Körpers im klassischen Griechenland, Wiesbaden 2019 (Philippika 133). She was regular contributor to the blog Männlich-weiblich-zwischen.
